Happy Thanksgiving, fellow Realtors and Affiliates!
I am thankful for each of you and all you've done to make 2021 such a spectacular year. Our Annual Awards Banquet was so much fun. We not only honored our award winners, we had great food and entertainment, the Fly Betty Band. Congratulations to all our honorees, and especially to our Realtor of the Year, Immediate Past President Judy Presley. Please congratulate her when you see her! Also, our new Phoenix Awards winners are shown here as well - Dani Burns and Judy Paul, both with Keller Williams Lanier Partners. (Phoenix Award indicates the recipient has qualified for Circle of Excellence Award for 10 years). Look out our for our ad congratulating the award winners in The Gainesville Times.
I hope to see you Wednesday, November 17 at our monthly luncheon. It will be held at the Gainesville Civic Center, 11:30 am - 1 pm. You can also join via Zoom if you can't make it in person. Look for the zoom invitation Wednesday morning. Brad Mock, Director of Government Affairs at Georgia Association of Realtors will be our speaker. Brad has been with GAR since 2014 and is the State and Local REALTOR® Political Advisory Group staff liaison and oversees GAR's legislative and political affairs, campaign services and also serves as a lobbyist. He is also a member of NAR's Government Affairs Director Advisory Group. Brad is a graduate of the University of West Georgia where he received both a Bachelors in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration. Our annual fundraiser for Tadmore still needs your support. More importantly, the kids and the teachers needs us. Please visit HCBORTadmore.com and make a donation prior to the end of the year. How about doing it to celebrating GIVING TUESDAY on November 30, 2021! I know without a doubt that we will meet (and hopefully exceed) our goal of $10,000 for Tadmore Elementary School.
Our board also generously Realtor Political Action Committee (RPAC) and there have been so many reasons to support RPAC this year. Brad Mock will enumerate many of them.
